The Vampire's Ghost 1945

"In this classic spine-chiller, natives of a coastal African village believe several mysterious murders are the work of a vampire -- and, unbeknownst to them, local bar owner Webb Fallon (John Abbott) fits the bill. When the centuries-old bloodsucker begins exerting his paranormal influence on a plantation owner, intellectual priest Father Gilchrist (Grant Withers) steps in. The film is loosely based on John William Polidori's novel The Vampyre."
